In her writing and speaking, Brenda creatively weaves classic children’s stories, myths, and fairy tale themes with typical dilemmas from a woman’s everyday life to offer encouragement and reinforce timeless, biblical wisdom. She also leads personal growth seminars. Themes are available for single presentation, or in week-end retreat format. Whenever appropriate, time may be set aside for attendees to engage in personal reflection, small group interaction, and therapeutic art or play. Brenda believes that spiritual life is often enriched through the creative process.

Recommendations:

“Brenda Waggoner captures the heart of women: our fierce hunger for the life of our dreams, our deep disappointment when relationships, careers, and bodies fall short of those dreams; and our daily struggle to experience something meaningful with God.”

Musician and Author of Breathing Freely

“Brenda walks the REAL journey with humility, and speaks the truth, whether in a group setting or one-on-one. I was personally impressed with her servant’s attitude toward women at our retreat. She teaches us to become more real by sharing her own shortcomings and flaws, and continually serves us with a listening ear and open heart. Inviting her to lead your retreat is embracing the love and rest of God.”
