Common Therapeutic Issues:
Philosophy and Therapeutic Approach:
Brenda believes that mental health involves thinking truthfully, facing reality, behaving in ways that enhance one’s purpose and goals, and healing wounds to the soul. She uses a variety of theoretical approaches, depending on the client’s issues, within the context of a safe, supportive relationship. Brenda takes a holistic view and believes that mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health are inter-related, and they also have an impact on the body. Therefore, she frequently makes recommendations for wellness in each of these areas, as appropriate.
